I agree with Jean!
However, it has been said, with a certain degree of logic, that if we go back in time to a 'natural state', we must select a time; ie 8,000 years ago and the whole of the British Isles was covered in Linden (Lime tree) forests. 12,000 years ago and tundra vegetation. Etc etc .
