The Gardens’ arboretum has seen around a hundred new trees being planted into it over the last year. The most recent trees have been a varied selection of Pines, Sorbus (Rowans) and Acers. Quoted The Friends of Glasgow Botanic Gardens.

Joe, Son of the Rock club has replied to Nicole Merdrignac clubJoe, Son of the Rock club has replied to Roger (Grisly) clubHowever, it has been said, with a certain degree of logic, that if we go back in time to a 'natural state', we must select a time; ie 8,000 years ago and the whole of the British Isles was covered in Linden (Lime tree) forests. 12,000 years ago and tundra vegetation. Etc etc .
