The Blue Hour with *Christmas* lights on everywhere as the end of year approaches

the Leuven Christmas Market started today, lots of people and lots of Christmas lights with which we are quietly heading towards the end of the year, always I like to take pictures of that because it brings lots of people out to enjoy the cosy atmosphere
Historical Town Hall Gruete Mèt in Leive, this is a car-free zone
The ancient city hall is Leuven's pride and joy. It is also one of the most famous Gothic town halls in the world. The first stone was laid in 1439. The construction took thirty years and involved three master builders.
Here in the foreground you can see the statue of Fons Sapientiae literally means 'source of wisdom'. He has a book in one hand and with the other he is pouring the necessary wisdom into his head. That pouring is also sometimes interpreted differently, supposedly referring to a glass of Stella that makes student life pleasant
