It takes two to tango
Straight out of camera, except using healing tool to remove the strings...

Two LED torches used for light, and a glass smeared with vaseline for the effect.

I hanged them with thin black string, which disappeared against black background. Then I only had to carefully remove the string around the brushes with GIMP 'Healing Tool'.
