it's not just 50/50 (the fiftieth from fifty pictures), it's also 50-50 for a save landing or catching ! :-)

That is so true. I have heard someone dropping a cell phone from a table, and the screen cracked. It so much depends on which angle the cell phone lands on the ground.

... or how good you are in catching it by your hand... ;-)

That is much worse in my case. I say 1/50...

Yes, I "inherited" the group administration, and we have at least few active members still. Hopefully more people becomes active in the future.

yikes! did you catch it? great photo. did you place the phone in this photo, or did you actually toss that phone? either way, you have the phone in the perfect spot. this feels like could have many meanings to it (toss that phone and enjoy the day - for example)?

just found the group 'The 50 Images-Project' - i've failed at 365 projects, this seems like a great one to work on. i appreciate the lack of time constraint. my life just doesn't allow for ridged scedules. i'm pondering my subject (trying to not copy anyone else's) and hope to start muy project soon. thanks for stepping up and running the group - with help I think I saw.

I indeed tossed the phone up in the air. But there was some soft snow to land it. So, it still worked after the shot.

Besides I updated my phone camera while I started to shoot this project ;-)

This one was Samsung, but when Finland still was a great Nokia phone manufacturer, there also used to be funny sports called as "toss a Nokia phone". It became popular because there are also Nokia rubber boots, and sports to throw them as far as possible.
