Plastic bag for the camera, to avoid worst condensation, and shooting in guerrilla style =D

Although, I do miss my old DSLR sometimes. That was clumsy enough to control even with gloves.

I was told the story of a photographer who changed her lens with bare fingers at -40°C. She had to be taken to hospital;-) Most of the others in the group had frostbite on their noses...

That indeed is the risk when temperature drops below -35 Celsius. So, -25 is almost warm compared to -40. And even a small wind can make it many times worse.
