On GIMP 'Polar coordinate' tool one can choose not to select the round effect but kind of "twisted one" =D Then there's an interesting option for 'Offset angle': docs.gimp.org/en/plug-in-polar-coords.html

The title refers to the ancient library of Alexandria. Bookworms like me are often kind of hoarders, trying to collect every damn book we see. Then we fill our walls with objects we may not ever again use (read). Like we try to collect our personal "Library of Alexandria". I have lately tried switching to electronic books...

Great subject for a distorted image, works very well, great range of colours.

The red IKEA bookshelf worked as a cool frame and source of color =D

There is option not to make a circular distortion but sort of arch image instead. Then just playing with layers gives the final touch.
