The cup that cheers.

My usual drinking vessel for a cuppa, and to see how the Ef40 f2.8 STM lens works with my 1Ds camera at f2.8.
Dramatic Sunrise

Another of those shots that needed taking for enhancing in LR, its a shame about the foreground though. Nature either works with you or you have to work with what you've got.

This building is/was a well known department store in Reading which has been closed since 2013 after 138 yrs of trading. If you had to get a school uniform in Reading this was where you ended up. Not a lot of people are aware that it also has the Holybrook running underneath it.

Tried the Samyang 8mm on the IR camera to see if there was going to be any problems with it, looks okay so far, not a vivid pink like one of my past efforts, which I'm trying to forget about.
Past and Present.

Light Meter Reading
|
|
This is with a light meter app on an iPhone 4, that I used to base the exposure on to get the final image.
First scan.
|
|
The original scan of the negative on a flat-bed scanner, resolution was not up to what I was expecting and there was a lot of dust from the scanner platen.
You can sea forever.

A 3 shot pano looking out from a WW2 gun emplacement at Hurst Castle looking towards the Needles lighthouse, using my Samyang 8mm UWA lens.
