Submitted to the Vintage Photos Theme Park for UNIQUE OR OUTRAGEOUS HATS theme week. I had several choices of photos of her with a huge hat of the type popular in that era but chose this one because of the added humor value of the hygienic cup chained to the water fountain. I particularly like the cockade and plume on the front brim of this straw hat, a decoration more usually associated with military bonnets.
