Quite a Shock this Morning

Just had a surreal experience while watching the new PBS series on cancer. Inserted about four minutes into the second episode is a very brief piece of film from an old trade film of a concerned young man asking a doctor about his diagnosis. My dad is the actor playing that patient. I almost fell off the couch. This has to be from about 1952. The sad irony of it is that his two-pack a day cigarette habit eventually contributed to the lung cancer that killed him.
