Slovakia - Tatras

In reading about hiking in the Tatras before the trip, I found several references to having to use chains in difficult portions of certain trails. It sounded a bit offputting, but when I was actually confronted with one, it was no big deal (even though it might look a little scary from this angle). This is the set of chains just downriver of the upper bridge over Vel'ky Studeny Potok, the creek which runs through the valley.

I'm not sure, but this picture might be of the same set of chains from the other direction.
