"Run For It!"


One of the two elk wandering through the yard got spooked by having his picture taken, and bolted up the neighbor's driveway. The other elk kept munching the grass, unconcerned, much like the deer do.
It's amazing to watch elk run. Not just because they're as big as horses and nimble as greyhounds, but because they manage to duck and weave through the tree branches with four-foot-long antlers sticking out of their heads.
