Every year there's a short, more or less depressing period when the arrival of winter makes us long for the beautiful season, before January puts it back in our sights.
I think you represent it pertinently, Laura, through these warm-cold contrasts and these interminglings that do not choose their side ;-)
Perhaps these memories are intended to circumvent our doubt that we'll still be here next summer...? I can't say...

Yes - all very true.
I'm currently just working on enjoying where I am now - that includes sitting and looking at images from the past *smile*.
