Tree that was struck by lighting during a storm. The lighting went down the tree and in the ground which found the grounding rod to the home which caught the AC unit on fire in the attic. We fought the fire in a downpour with lots of lighting. This is the effect of lighting going into the ground. We did not mess up the ground the lightning did the damage.
