Mischwald ist immer gut, das bringt Farbe rein! Mir scheint, dass bei uns die Buchen tendenziell eher eine Farbe wie das rechte Blatt im PiP haben;-)

Gudrun, da wirfst du neuen Stoff in die Diskussion mit Krautmo bezüglich der Wahrnehmung der Blätterfarbe ;-)

I had to giggle at your title when I first saw it because for me, I saw, "Blond Dirt"...and thought, wow, that's a different interpretation, isn't it?! :D :D The translation is "bleach"...which is still an interesting interpretation! :D

Janet, yes, the title has a humanizing aspect, and it is intended. :-)
"blondiert" is a term from the hairdressing branch and means "dyed blond" or "bleaching". For me this branch of leaves looks a bit like the blond hank of a girl's hairstyle :-))

to me it looks like the use of automatic white balance where you should have used a manual one;-)
Inside forest I recommend 5.600 K ;-))))

lol, yeah...this happens all the time!
In fact, I make sure to check my photos and if the auto white balance is using the wrong part of my subject, I've memorized what button to press without looking so I can retake the picture right away. There's nothing so frustrating as having a picture turn out bad on the computer because it's too dark or light because you weren't paying attention. :D

No jo, jetzt macht aber ein Buchenasterle im Fichtenforst noch nicht wirklich ein Mischwald - auch nicht im mittleren Mittelland. Oder?
Fürs Bild allerdings macht sich der leuchtende Gelbanteil vor dunklem Hintergrund recht gut.
