Sandstein - HFF (PiP)

Im Teutoburger Wald, nahe der Stadt Horn-Bad Meinberg, befindet sich eine beeindruckende Sandstein-Felsformation - die Externsteine. Sie bestehen aus 13 freistehenden Einzelfelsen, die eine Höhe von bis zu 47,7 m erreichen. Zwei der Felssporne (Turmfels links und Treppenfels rechts) sind durch eine Stahlbrücke verbunden, über die man in die Höhenkammer des Turmfelsens gelangt.
