Die Heitmann 1 ist ein 80 m langes und 8,20 m breites Gütermotorschiff (GMS), mit einem Tiefgang von 2,67m. Ihr Frachtraum fasst 1165 t. Das Schiff wurde 1967 auf der Werft Büsching & Rosemeyer in Uffeln-Vlotho gebaut und ist in Minden registriert. Angetrieben wird es mit einem Deutz RBV 6M 545 und 500 PS Maschinenleistung. Am 20.03.21 war sie auf dem Mittellandkanal bei Seelze unterwegs.
