I did find the artist thanks to the clear signature - he had a huge body of work - this style of painting seems to have been the one for which he is best known.

There are some scary and quite repulsive works in the exhibition. I have only snapped and shown some of the milder images. It was quite challenging and I am wondering whether my art-loving grand-daughter found it too much. She didn't show it at the time and seems to have understood the thinking behind the Dimblebys' curation.
