Lightning memorial plaque front refurbished

Something else I was doing in my break from photography, although I usually record any work of this nature.
This plaque is located on an internal wall of the church, which has had water penetration problems caused by inappropriate mortar being used on the flintstone wall. The back of the brass was green with corrosion and the front had a very patchy varnish finish. The varnish and corrosion were cleaned off, the lettering, which is etched into the surface, was repainted where necessary and new coats of special metal lacquer were applied.

Marco F. Delminho, Richard Chamberlain, John FitzGerald have particularly liked this photo
