Seaplane station to helipad - Newhaven - 13.1.2016

Originally a seaplane station dating from the WW1 era, this crumbling concrete pad is now used, occasionally, by helicopters. They are probably connected with the development of the off-shore wind farm nearby. Whether the surface will be upgraded when the wind farm construction gets under way remains to be seen. This part of the coast does not appear to be in the port development area, so perhaps not.
