Underground Lines No1 - London 1943 - inside

I find it curious that the panel at the eastern end shows the stations at the outer end of the District Line, but also includes places like Grays, Tilbury and Southend that weren't on the District Line or in fact on the Underground. Places in similar relationships to the Underground network, but in other directions don't get mentioned.
