navy & white stripes - liquify - glass button & hues

navy & white stripes - liquify - glass button & hues
This started life as the white & blue stripes forming the background of the bookshop collage next door! The stripes started on an Excel spreadsheet, hence the fine gridlines that can be seen 'liquified' like the main stripes. The stripes were distorted using the 'distort - liquify' filter in Photoshop Elements. The image was then divided in half once and the 'hue' changed in one half. The two differently coloured halves were then divided in the other direction and one of the two-colour halves then had its hues changed. A circle was then copied from the centre and pasted back as another layer, which had its colours 'inverted' - black becoming white and the colours changed. Then a 'glass-button' effect was applied to the central disc and also to the main layer, giving the round edge look.
It has probably taken me as long to type this explanation, as it did to create the design!

This should come with a health warning, Phil. It looks like the morning after the night before, to me ;-)

One time, a long time ago. Perhaps twice.

Much the same - 1969ish - travelled home across London in the back of a Mini, driven by someone who had been at the same party. No 'designated drivers' in those days. One of those 'never again' events!
