I had to make slight detour to pass the very wide black cow which was standing in the centre of the path. None of the meadow ladies took any notice of me as passed.

I never used to be wary until a couple of years back when the cows on my regular walk turned aggressive, two years on the trot, I now avoid the common during grazing season.
