Lewes Castle - 23.7.2014 - the Russian Cannon

Russian and Finnish prisoners of war, from the mid-19th century war in Crimea, were held in Lewes and the cannon was presented to the town in recognition of its services. The barrel is original, but the carriage is a reproduction, made for the presentation.
