09026 Cedric Wares - Brighton carriage shunter - 31.7.2014

Rounding off a good day out to London with two small(ish) grandchildren, I managed to fire off several shots of Cedric, as we approached Brighton station. There were serious window reflection problems and a number of obstructions, so this is far from perfect even after an upgrade in Photoshop. Oh for a train with drop-light windows!
Cedric Wares was a fitter at Brighton Works for many years.
Cedric rarely ventures out of the train servicing and storage area, so it is difficult to catch him from public access areas. Looking at Google maps, there do seem to be locations on the west side of the railway, near where Cedric operates, but I doubt that I shall trek over there just on the off-chance that he is within range. So this will have to do for the moment.
