Old coastguard cottages - Cuckmere Haven - 21.1.2014
These former coastguard cottages draw photographers from all around the world. OK it's not just the cottages, but they are a key component in the Cuckmere scene. There are few if any rivers along the Sussex coast that meet the sea with such limited development around the estuary. We are lucky to have such an beautiful location so close to home. The hill behind becomes Seaford Head over the horizon and the other side of the headland is Seaford.

Nice in good weather! The cottages are at the end of a one kilometre track, that goes up the hill beside the fence behind the right-hand cottage. The path that runs parallel with the river is often very muddy when it is wet.
