Wings along the surf - Dunlin perhaps - Bishopstone - 19.12.2013


I have given this photo a vague title as I am not sure which shore birds these are. These are their under sides, their upper surface is dark grey with white edges to their wings. Both their beak and leg colour seems to be black. So my guess is that they are Dunlins, which I have seen at Tidemills before, albeit in smaller numbers.
