MV Aristote doing a 180 degree turn - Newhaven - 29.9.2012

It is more of a three-point turn, with the bow going up the channel to the left, where the red markers are. The river is a bit wider beyond the quays, as they are built out from the banks. The channel mouth is at the upstream end of a loop that goes around Denton Island where there are a number of boatyards.
