Skate lunch - 30.7.2012

Hearing a bit of commotion outside the front of our house, I went out to find this going on. Fortunately they stayed around long enough for me to get my camera. Eventually they disappeared up a neighbour's driveway, so I don't know who got to have the skate!
The fish doesn't look big enough for a skate, but it is better known than many flat fish!

Phil Sutters club has replied to Dida From Augsburg clubAll these shots are brilliant and I would like you to post them in my group called Fur Fin and Feather.
A happy new year to you and yours.
Jeff.
Phil Sutters club has replied to Jeff FarleyI have joined your group and posted this collage there.
I don't know whether you are aware that you can invite a photo into a group you run, just by going to the 'Groups' icon on the grey bar, between the 'like' star and the ACTION button. Scroll down until you come to the group and click on it. (The menu will only have the groups which you belong to.) A little panel then pops up telling you that you will have to wait and see if the photo's owner agrees to add it. If you knew this already and preferred a more personal approach that's fine. It just means that the owner doesn't have to join the group for it to be posted there.
I will have a look through my wildlife pictures and add some more.
Thank you for your New Year greeting. I hope you and your growing family have a good year in 2016.
Phil
