Eglise de Châteloy

C'est une église romane construite au 12e siècle dans le hameau de Châteloy à proximité d'Hérisson et de son château. Elle est située à l'extrémité d'un promontoire et domine la vallée de l'Aumance à l'emplacement de l'ancienne cité gallo-romaine de Cordes. Elle était l'ancienne église paroissiale d'Hérisson avant qu'une autre église ne la remplace dans le bourg.
A remarquer sur la photo l'arc-boutant qui soutient l'église du côté en surplomb sur la vallée.

It is a Romanesque church built in the 12th century in the hamlet of Chateloy near Hérisson village and its castle. It is located at the end of a promontory overlooking the valley Aumance at the site of the former Gallo-Roman city of Cordes. She was the former parish church of Hérisson before another replaces this church in the town.
