Got into shorter lines that we expected -
The ballot was long -
Read and discussed with Mr C ahead of time -
Hate to cancel each other -
But, we don't always agree -

Stuck my I Voted Early sticker -

On my new camera bag !

Now, wait until regular voting -
See how things turn out ..

If you live where you have the opportunity to vote -
GO !

We ALL make a difference -
But not if you sit home and don't bother -

Just sayin'

There are people who complain about who gets elected - My 1st question is 'Did you vote'? Many times the answer has been ..no, ____________ and whatever reason fills that blank space. Have no sympathy for anyone who had the chance and didn't bother..

There are many people who are disillusioned by inhuman politics. Which politician could give them back their lost faith and trust...? Everything has and needs its time, Peggy, also the reconciliation with inhuman politics - if it is really ever possible. So please don't judge non-voters too harshly - even for your own sake.

As a naturalized citizen of America for 53 years, I feel l have an extra obligation to vote, not just because every citizens has the responsibility to vote (which for some can be difficult due to political maneuvering to keep them from voting) but because it is a freedom we must protect.

Being born here I cherish that which I can do; that which I can say; that which I can write.

Of course people we vote for don't always get elected, but we did try and do what we could.
