Flowering Almond Shrub is FULL of buds -
These are opening, regardless of my pleas -
NOT YET !
Y'all are too early -
Am a firm believer in ' talking to my plants ' -
But -
They are like children who have selective hearing -
Do they care that March hasn't arrived ( with possible snow ) -
Of course not -
Plus the fact -
They haven't been trimmed -
Cause it is supposed to be done in SPRING !

Plants are rather perturbated by the crazy climate we have !!! Here also !!! We had a mild Winter and now that Spring is about to come, we have polar air !!!!!!!!!!

The weather is like roller coaster ~ Sun the no sun - rain .. no rain.
Went out and dug in the dirt today .. felt as though I was going to sink in the soggy ground !

Excellent! We're supposed to get our almond blossom soon (central Spain) but the recent cold spell, which looks set to last a while, will probably either knock it out completely this year or severely delay it. I fear it will be the former. :o(
