she braved last year ..
visiting someone she only knew through photo exchanges ..

phone calls ..
and a few other ways of keeping in touch ..
do remember my husband asking, "do you think you will find enough to talk about" or something like that ..
we ran out of days ..
of time ..
it was as if we had always known each other ..
now, we are so happy she will grace our lovely State ..
that which I call 'the land of gently sloping hills ... North Carolina ..
this photo was taken during the visit of 2014 ..
the Mountains have been waiting ..
they are very patient ..

I hope you all have a great time. I met my wife Linda while we were playing an online game and she braved coming over for a holiday (she was in Atlanta at the time). We got married later the same year after Linda gained her visa to return to England.

Well, to keep y'all up-to-date .............. we have been out just a bit, but now that the rains have left, the sun appeared............... it is no holds barred !

As does sometimes happen, things do not go according to plans -
But, even though the Duke Gardens visit with Bob Taylor was a wash-out ..
Sorry, but the rains did something to me ..
Pam and I still managed a day at Lake Mac ..
Re-visiting some downtown shops ..
Pam met the NotMyGarden Down the Road ..
Trip to Mt Jefferson and new friends met there ..
And, always the Wednesday nights of music ..
Including a surprise guest ..
John Henry plays trombone ..

He just happens to be a Professor .. Dr John Henry ..
