lights -

siren -
out of nowhere -
this police vehicle -
and three others -
converged on a corner-
downtown -
they got somebody -
questioned someone else -
it was so fast even the photos -
don't help me make sense of it -
the guy put in the squad car -
did have something on him -
taken into evidence -
this just doesn't happen -
in the middle of the day -
not here -
well, guess that statement is all wrong, now ........

anyhow, this is the 1st time I've seen it -
this stuff happens in BIG cities -
