No idea what caused this!

the swans on our lakes have wings clipped so they don't fly off ..
helps to keep the population steady (besides, then those who care for these magnificent creatures know who is supposed to be at which lake when they are rounded up for shots/physicals) ..
wasn't ready for him ..
heard the noise in the lake and started shooting !
