originally, "Christmas Eve/ Sarajevo" was released
by a Tampa Bay rock group called Savatage ..
the song didn't get much air play at radio stations until a local
DJ, ... Mason Dixon, pushed it..

after Trans-Siberian Orchestra was formed, with members of Savatage, "Christmas in Sarajevo" was re-released..

the rest is history..
