Magnolia Burst

Magnolia Burst
Thought I'd play around with a bit of zoom burst. It's not perfect by any means, but it's kind of growing on me. Looking up at the magnolia, if it's not clear.

raingirl, Luc Reiniche have particularly liked this photo

Thanks Jaap - you never know how these sorts of experiments are going to turn out

I think this is awesome. And it does grow on one. I have no idea what a 'zoom burst' is, but I like it - I will look it up, or you could tell me *smile*.

I'd love to have this photo in my group 'je ne regrette rien' - if you want. I've 'suggested' it.

Done. Zoom burst is where you rotate the zoom while exposing. A bit hit and miss, as you'd expect!

thanks for adding it - you might enjoy some of the photos in the group, some definitely by accident, some purposefully not quite "normal".

ah - now i understand! might be fun to try (i'd have to switch back to my zoom lens - which isn't a very good lens but might do really well at this technique because it was always slipping anyway).
