What a winner of a shot! Woodpeckers are always so wonderful to see. Just today, on our ride back from Vernonia on the rails to trails path, a woodpecker flew down in front of me to land in a branch. I got a good look too...it was a Downy Woodpecker! :)

Hope all is well with you my dear, we're having a great adventure! Thank you so much for your comments--you are always on my mind! :) And you know...we actually had very good luck with that transmission failure. We could have been in a ZILLION terrible places. Instead we failed on an untraveled road near our last campground. Not on the freeway. Or a highway. Or in a remote park like The Cove Palisades. We were absolutely BLESSED and couldn't be any happier. We got a great deal on this truck and it will last 750k more miles--rebuilding this transmission is just part of the package and so, even though it will be expensive, it's no problem! :)
