So.. soft fool I am.. i by a crown and split it .. half for TG half for Christmas.. and I buy turkey thighs as we both love the dark meat.

Pam J club has replied to Shuttering YukonFor me the Traditional Christmas Dinner is
Turkey/Roast Potatos/4 Vegetables/Chestnuts/Cranberries/Homemade special family recipe Stuffing/Christmas Pudding/Mince Pies and Cream.
And ditto today.... lol... which is Boxing Day !
In the UK I had my own one person Gardening and Handyman business... loved the tips like that ! Didnt pay the Bills.. but warmed the heart !
I had a Turkey breast.
soaked for two hours in Whiskey spiced with parsley, thyme, garlic and black pepper then roasted with a drop of virgin olive oil. Had roast spuds and mixed vegetables and fruit.
Dessert was a clementine. Washed down with luxury Sapporo beer from Hokkaido, Japan.
Enjoy the rest of the seasonal feast.

Pam J club has replied to Sylvain WiartThe Chardonnay comes from a superb Oklahoma vineyard !! Yes.. I know.... not what you expect is it ? ! They have a top class Merlot too and are just 12 miles from me ! It bears comparison to a good French one.... thought THE best Chardonnay I ever had came from New Zealand !
Sylvain Wiart has replied to Pam J clubI didn't know about vineyards in Oklahoma, and as I consulted the web, I've found Canadian River in Lexington and others pleasants name of wineries : Blue coyote, Put a cork in it , Girls gone wine, The Rusty nail !
All my wishes for 2015 !
Pam J club has replied to Sylvain WiartGenerally no they dont in France... but elsewhere they often do .
Interesting point... till Prohibition... Oklahoma was the 3rd largest wine exporter in the USA apparently !
I never expected to find wonderful wines like I have here !! There is a very healthy resurgence..and those you named.. been there done them... its a pleasure !!
Salute ! 'à la vôtre santé'
New Year Blessings !
Congrats on Explore.
