Fun to watch the babies play ...

we have any older one that kept taking the lid of the metal container to get to the sunflower seeds that we give to the birds ... finally had to chain and padlock the container. We were wondering why the seed was going down so fast and one night we looked out and threw on the deck light and there it was sitting in the container helping himself, he/she looked as us and it was like, "What are you looking at???) lol

The police here use tasers against midnight raiders. I reckon these critters have a friend in you who only shoots with a camera. It's a lovely shot.

The raccoons here are very shy... I live on the edge of 10,000 acre of wildlife preserve.

I know also why I prefer most animals to most people.

Well Phil... I mostly agree.. that is till the Copperhead snake come in in the Summer ! Then there is the Black Widow Spiders and the Ticks.. and the Recluse spiders....

Its sort of a double edged sword !

Oooh-er! I lived in Zimbabwe for a few years, and spent some time in Aus, so I get the double edged sword idea. Reckon it's worth the risk...we're still here aren't we?! ;-)

We have this big guy that comes around in the middle of the night who tears up the bird feeders and turns over the bird baths...pest!

I have families here in Summer.. then the loners ijn Winter..... and my raccies are very shy still. We live very rurally...

My birdbaths weigh alot more than the raccons... so they are fine... and I make my feeders.. and attempt to make them so a 15 lb raccoon hanging off them wont hurt !
