Thank you, Thorsten!
I think that I am not comfortable with colors lately... ;)

Because of the sky :)
Thanks!

Very interesting choice of orientation. I suspect 9 out of 10 people would shoot in landscape mode for a scene like this. However, the portrait mode you have selected here really draws the eye upwards to the sky.

Thank you!
Obviously I took several other shots in typical landscape layout too :)
I'll show them later.

And it is a good choice! =)

Clouds and/or something on foreground gets more attention on vertical compositions. And I would still call them as landscape shots.

But even as a "negative space" sky or foreground can give "space to breath" on such composition, and turn out much more interesting than a horizontal composition.

Nowadays a problem that only one who shoots in black and white fully understands! =D

I think that I need a vest similar to what anglers use.
If I had one I would have everything I need "on me" ;)
But I cannot find anything ready to buy fitting my... err... very female shape ;)

And I thought it is merely a problem of not finding filters easy to attach on Olympus XA! =,D

The other problem is that I have "two left hands" ;) I mean I am so clumsy that I drop things when I get them from my photo bag. A good system of little pockets would help :)

P.S. I found an interesting discussion on the subject of working with filters on Olympus XA:

www.photrio.com/forum/threads/using-filters-with-the-olympus-xa-yes-we-can.56465

The most innovative but also more permanent for the "whole filming session" is the first. Filter attached inside the film compartment! =O

Although, my solution still would be Polaroid sun glasses. They are easy to carry around as a headgear =D

Interesting discussion indeed, with added insight into what Rupert mentioned above.
But the "whole filming session" is not for me as it happens that it takes me several months to finish a negative loaded into my XA ;/
Polaroid sunglasses appeal to me more... I'll ask my optician if he can provide me with a clip-on sunglasses matching my regular ones :)

Yes, I agree. In good old times it took at least several weeks for me to get one roll of film taken. Although, the idea of having for example yellow filter "always on" could work.

What comes to polaroid sun glasses, then there of course are several problems like reflections, most of the time dirty lenses, and troubles to hold them in right position on front of the lens. On modern digital camera it is not a so big problem because one can see the effect on display. But with analog camera it is not possible.

I have concluded from reading some of the comments that the perfect photographer would have three hands!.
