It is doing, what a crack* willow (Salix fragilis) is supposed to do! ;-)
Long & warm summers bring quite a lot of growth to such wetlands and views can change a lot within a few weeks.
*Sorry to them, who read along in background: it's only meant the sound of breaking wood - neither we produce, nor deal or consume the stuff, that also carries this name.
Have a nice weekend.
I do not use light meters. I am not compatible with them ;) Well, Olympus XA excluded... it has the most amazing light meter available.
So I use my eyes.
I look at the most important object / part of intended frame and set exposure parameters accordingly to what I see (or feel if you wish ;)). Then eventually I check it with Oly if it confirms my assessment. Naturaly Oly dos not have a spot meter but - miraculously - it know where to look :)
This time I forgot to bring Oly with me. And I think that I overexposed this shot a bit. The tree trunk could be a bit darker without any damage to details. I underestimated the light. All because of my eye-glasses. I forgot to change them and stayed in ones covered with some coat modifying light perception. It was not the best of my days ;)
