Excellent, My uncle who is now 93, flew for the RAF and dropped weapons to the AK in Warsaw, they flew from Bari and Foggia in Italy. One of the Liberator bombers from his group was shot down and crashed near Oskar Schindlers factory in Krakow, there is a plaque on the wall to commemorate it. Somewhere i have a picture of it that i took a few years ago

Richard, please tell your uncle how grateful we are here in Poland for all what he, his crew, and RAF did for Warsaw insurgents. Those drops were so much awaited, they brought help and hope, they were like manna from heaven, they meant that the world did not forget about Warsaw.
Tell him 'thank you!' from me and my family, please.
