Super Moon Sunday (Explored) (Front Page)

13 Nov 2016 27 40 945
My settings were way off trying to capture the Super Moon but I was able to capture one or two that are passible but not great. I am not happy with the clarity of the moon but that is probably due to the distortion of the atmosphere on the horizon. p4s18

Plans To Prosper, Not Harm (Explored)

09 Oct 2016 23 28 1197
I enjoy the moments I have to sit quietly and journal, especially when I get to use my favorite fountain pen. Life has dealt my wife and I some hard blows over the past few months leaving me distracted and preoccupied with solving the puzzle of life. Don’t get too excited, I have not solved that puzzle yet. One thing that I have found helpful is journaling. So, here I find myself sitting in the coffee shop doing just that as the warmth of the golden sunlight warms me on this slightly cool evening. Even though I have not been as active with photography as I would like I remembered to grab my camera before coming to the coffee shop. With the golden hue of the light on my pen sitting on my leather journal, I felt inspired and thankful I remembered the camera. These little times of rest and reflection remind me of how blessed I really am. p5s25 p2s15

Mimosa Tree (Explored)

30 Jun 2016 20 13 803
I took this photo today after having my camera sitting in rice for a week. It was sitting in rice because it was rained on and would not turn on or respond in any way. I am very blessed to have it working again. The week in rice worked to pull all of the moisture out of the electronics of the camera. p4s13 p3s14 p2s15

Little Bit Wicked Bangle (Explored)

11 Jun 2016 6 7 756

Not Quite Golden Hour

15 May 2016 10 11 723
I always enjoy getting photos of the sunlight shining through greenery. Here I was able to capture a little of the sunlight shining directly throught the leaves and some reflecting off of the leaves.

Yellow Bearded Iris

15 May 2016 14 12 815
I am really not sure exactly what type of iris this is other than it is a type of bearded iris. However, I couldn't help but notice how symmetrical this particular flower was.

My Old Pal Bugs ... (Explored)

Rolling Storm (Explored)

12 May 2016 6 4 577
This is a very short timelapse of the storms that rolled in this evening (05/11/2016). The straight line winds that came through were quite alarming but it passed over us with little to no damage. It was impressive how the trees withstood the force of the wind. p1s5 p1s4
