Slides taken for a lecture on the bounds of Welwyn taken in 1969 by Tony Rook.
Nicholas Maddex provided the following information: "The view in this slide is looking north from the boundary near Little Wood, towards the former car dump at Tagmore End, run by the Barker family, which has now been replaced by a small estate of big houses called "Codicote Heights". Its biggest claim to fame was that they acquired the nose cone of a space craft! There is still a steep bank/lynchet where a public footpath crosses the parish boundary near Little Wood. The houses must have been built about 1990."
