A rainy morning

This was the view out of our window on the first morning of our short break in North Cornwall. Lovely weather!
Forrabury cross (1)

From Andrew Langdon, Stone crosses in North Cornwall, 2nd ed. (1996), no. 38:
"Maclean recorded that it had been removed from another site, possibly a field close by known as Cross Park... In the past it has evidently been used as a gatepost many times, as three holes in the monument show. The cross displays Greek type crosses on both faces, but they have been badly eroded by the elements."
