Jan 02: Howard (1)

This statue was commissioned to celebrate Welwyn Garden City's centenary. Sir Ebenezer Howard was founder of the Garden City movement, and the town was his second garden city. Many moons ago I attended the Howard School, long since demolished and turned into a housing estate.
