Cordoba: Madinat al-Zahra

A rare find in Madinat al-Zahra, a fragment of a sundial. In the PiP a description. The sentence "....a certain level..." is a gross understatement. The level of astronomy in the time 800 - 1200 in the muslim world was high, much higher than elsewhere in Europe

Ob es ein Trauma ist weiss ich nicht, es ist aber eine geschichtliche Entwicklung die bis Heute nachwirkt
