With the power of the 70–300mm, I'd just seen Kim coming towards me and had time to get the camera out, get down, and get a shot before he'd gotten anywhere near and before the moment was gone. I'm still exploring what else this "wildlife" lens can do. This is a significant crop of it because some of the background stuff was a bit distracting.
I'm not sure that I'm happy with it yet. The cheekiness of the expression is brilliant, so a really hefty crop might be better... see the next shot in the photostream, or the comments, on this photo's page.
