Grey Squirrel. (+PiPs)

We've finally found some robust feeders that the grey squirrels can't get into........although they still spend ages every day trying their best. It's very entertaining!
The larger birds that visit us can't use them either as their beaks are too big. They are however, perfect for the smaller birds such a blue tits, great tits, robins etc.
As a consolation prize we still fill up an easy access feeding tray full of seed and peanuts every day for the larger birds (and the squirrels) to eat, and we also put out fat balls etc which suit them all.
Please check out the PiPs for another couple of photos.

It is odd -- we lived here 3 yrs before any of them wandered over here.
Telling them to leave falls on furry, deaf ears.
We find that putting easily available seed and nuts out for them well away from the small bird feeders makes life easier all round :-))
You've gotta love 'em though..!! Thanks for your visit and comments Peggy!
Dafür bieten dir die Tiere eine gute Show.
Tolle Aufnahmen, alle knackscharf und detailreich!
Glad you like the photos Wilhelm...........thanks for commenting.
