The street barrier are exactly as they look...........and as far as I could see they were put in at an angle. It's a very weird place :-)

Mon 1er métier a été "peintre en lettres" Je n'ai pas exercé longtemps car celà est tombé en désuétude (remplacé par les lettres auto collantes) Il y a quelques années j'ai lu que les lettres peintes (et la publicité peinte) revenaient à la mode. On sentait effectivement un frémissement mais celà ne me parait pas se confirmer en France. Pense tu que ce que l'on voit là sont des lettres peintes ?

In the UK sign writing seems to have been a dying art, but apparently there are signs that they are making a comeback and the trade is becoming recognised again............but not in the pure form you may have been used to Jean Paul.
